At Life.Church, one of our goals is to be spiritual contributors, not spiritual consumers.
We've found, however, that church membership does not necessarily encourage this attitude in the most effective way. Instead, we believe that when people feel needed and known, they are drawn to engage and commit to be spiritual contributors to our mission. We created our Open Door events to do just that—to show our attenders who we are and what we're about, giving us the chance to meet them, learn their names, answer their questions, and serve them however we can.
